Book Condition: Very Good Plus. No Jacket. Volume II only, bright red book cloth with gilt lettering, see picture. Title page has some foxing. Rest of book is clean and tight. Music selected from W. Chappell's Popular Music, long ballads compressed, many old songs from the 17th and 18th centuries provided with new lyrics, 243 pages. See especially page 64 "O that I had never married" (Woman's work is never done"), from the 17th century.
