I ship on Saturdays due to my work schedule. However, once someone has paid for an item, I try to pack it up and ship it the next day. My ability to do so depends on the time of school year because I am a teacher.
If you need an item within a week, only Priority Mail will accomplish this. I offer customers BOTH choices on most items. Large items such as lamps may require special shipping boxes which will be charged at cost only. No shipping to International Addresses other than Canada.
Bidders with a feedback score less than 10 may not be accepted and will have their bids automatically cancelled.
Payments for winning bids must be received within 5 days of the winning bid or I reserve the right to relist the item.
·I do not charge an extra handling fee. I offer combined shipping on multiple purchases at no extra cost whenever possible as long as the weight of the package is about the same. I am not responsible for packages once the US Postal Service has accepted them. By bidding, you are agreeing to these conditions.

ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This auction is for a simply gorgeous handmade reprint of a very famous Japanese work. Marked on back (see pictures for close up of this) "A HERON IN RIVER MASTERPIECE OF GYOKU (unreadable here) KANO LATE 15TH - EARLY 16TH) RARE REPRODUCTION"
The work is stamped on front bottom right and "Made in Japan" is on back, indicating it was produced after the war (WWII).
I have tried researching this further but have been unable to find the printers mark nor the proper name listed. I am not an art specialist, so sorry I could not find more information for you. I am surethose who collect, will know.
The ink does both bleed through the back as well as carries impressions, which - if you enlarge the closeups I took - you will see why I believe this is both a wood-block print as well as was hand-painted also. I could be wrong.
It comes framed in the original frame in which I got it. I had to cut open the back to take the work out for shooting the back. It is in excellent condition with only side bends and far tack holes plesae enlarge the pictures. The care with which this was made is truly extraordinary although I think you can only see that in person. It's really wonderful.
If you do have any information on this work, I would appreciate an email if you have the time. Thanks.
Measures just under 15" wide and just under 10" high. Frame is wood and linen.
