THIS AUCTION CONSISTS OF AN OLD DEVOE PAINT SIGN MADE BY DEVOE & RAYNOLDS COMPANY, INC. FOUNDED 1754 AND IT READS THE FIRST AMERICAN PAINT MAKER WITH AN INDIAN GRAPHIC. THIS SIGN IS MADE OF ENAMELED PAINT KIND OF A THIN PORCELIAN. IT IS LARGE AND MEASURES ALMOST 29" TALL AND 19" WIDE. HAS SOME SCRATCHES ON THE UPPER LEFT SIDE. TWO HOLES FOR MOUNTING - PRETTY SURE THESE ARE ORIGINAL. OTHER THAN THAT THIS SIGN IS GREAT! WONDERFUL COLORS AND A VERY STRIKING DISPLAY ADVERTISING ITEM FROM AN OLD HARDWARE STORE. PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS.
