OLD PORCELAIN EVINRUDE OUTBOARD MOTOR SIGN Ca. 1920's

WOW!!  Here's an extremely rare, porcelain sign that says:  "Authorized Evinrude Sales and Service";  "The Greatest Evinrude Ever Built";  "Speedy-Reliable-Powerful-Dependable."  This is a real beauty.  We have not been able to locate another like it over the past 5 months since we purchased it from an estate in northern Michigan.  It is in very nice, original condition with no touch-ups or repair.  There are small chips on corners and a few on edges as pictured; with the largest on the top left corner (3/4" diameter from left corner), with scratch through "s" in "sales" going down to 1/4" chip to bottom edge. 

The porcelain has a beautiful shine to it, and is not discolored or scratched.  The 2 brothers who had the estate sale of their dad's things, both of them in their 70's, said it had been on an inside wall of their dad's garage, "as long as we can remember."  We did not wash the reverse as it shows the age.  We guarantee that this is an original 1920's or 1930's sign; with the two guys in the old wood boat with the old Evinrude Outboard Motor on the stern.  The outboard motor guys probably know the model and year of the outboard.  Don't miss this one!  It's a beauty!!
