This is a beautiful old pressed or molded glass hair receiver with a metal lid that has a nice raised design. The hair receiver is still filled with gray hair from its last owner.

 

The glass is in excellent condition – I cannot find any chips, cracks or repairs on it. The metal lid may have once been silver plated, but I’m not sure. The whole piece can use a cleaning.

 

The hair receiver stands a bit over 3 inches tall, and there are a couple of different patterns on the glass for added interest. It’s a really nice piece!
