You are bidding on OLD WALLACE GRANDE BAROQUE STERLING FLATWARE SET with Reed & Barton CHEST. The set is in excellent estate condition. No problems and light usage marks. Each piece is marked with the "Wallace (moosehead logo) STERLING". By the hallmark, this set is from the 1950's. All the pieces are solid sterling and the dinner knives have stainless steel blades, bright and shiny. The handles are the gorgeous GRANDE BAROQUE 1941 repousse pattern. Ther are 12- 5 piece placesettings (the essential pieces, no paying for pieces that will sit in a drawer) plus four excellent serving pieces. Each 5 piece placesetting weghs a hefty 9.9oz  or 281gm. The serving pieces wegh 6.3 oz. Total weght of the set is approximately 125 oz or 10 pounds, about $2000 silver value.  Note this set has the desired soup spoons (many sets do not). Also included is a beautiful wooden Towle Silver Chest in like new condition.
