Auction is for an original antique wooden folk art piece for the wall featuring an old crucifix cross that is mounted atop an old paper publication with text and I - XIII numbered pictorial graphics. Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus, Chicago, ILL. A wonderfully aged antique collectible from the Arts and Crafts era. Circa 1920’s-30’s. Early religious-themed folk art created with a nicely grained and richly colored solid wood base along with a wood cross and nicely detailed vintage metal crucifix. Measures just under 8” x 5”. Displays nicely on the wall - also nice when displayed on a tabletop on a small easel. Offered with a low $9.99 starting bid and NO reserve. A rare, unique and interesting historical antique wall hanging -- excellent for display in an Arts and Crafts or Mission styled home.
