Unique and museum collection.

Paul Fouillen, who joined the Grande Maison HB QUIMPER in 1920,
introduced a new,modern Art Deco look to the faïence; however,
he left the Grande Maison in 1929 to open his own faïencerie just
around the corner from the HB factory.
Fouillen’s work was very popular and continues to be so to day.

The painted and carved Breadboard is in great shape
considering its age. No chips , no cracks ,
.Overall, excellent condition.Minor wear on paint.
It measures 7" tall and 9 " wide with handles
It bears the Paul FOUILLEN signature on one side and on the bottom.

This wonderfully hand painted breadboard , circa 1930's,
is a highly decorative item for your home ,that is so collectable.
An extremely rare find and a must for your QUIMPER items collection.
