Features:

Olympus introduced this 35mm film camera in 1973. Olympus OM-1 was the first product in the OM Series. It earned wide acclaim as the world's smallest and lightest 35mm single-lens reflex camera. It was designed by a team led by Yoshihisa Maitani, who had already created the Olympus Pen and Pen F cameras, noted for their compactness.

In 1974, Olympus launched the OM-1MD (MD standing for Motor Drive), to which a motor drive can be attached without any modification being required.

Also included: Olympus Zuiko MC Auto-S 50mm 1:1.8 lens, Olympus Winder 2 motor drive.
