Telechron 559 'Durham' Mantle Clock
The 1931 Telechron 'Durham' has a mahogany wood case, Spanish hightlighted finish with Lacewood panels. The 4 1/2" gold finished dial is etched. The 'Durham' was later renamed the 'Maynard', and became theModel 4F01 in 1933.
While other sellers tell you "as is", look at all the details that we put into this clock:
- The clock was fully disassembled. Rotor and coil removed, movement sonic cleaned and lubricated.
- The 'B' Rotor was oiled and coil was inspected and tested.
- Original convex glass removed and cleaned.
- Power cord replaced with new braided cloth one with original-type plug.
- Original dial was completely cleaned and is in very good condition.
- Red dot power indicator works when power is interupted - It can be manually reset to 'gold' on the back of the movement.
- Brass bezel has been cleaned, machine buffed, hand polished and lacquered.
- Hands were cleaned and clear coated with lacquer.
- Original case was stripped of its fading finish and brought to the bare mahogany and lacewood, then lightly stained and rubbed with multiple coats of tung oil over several days. It is in excellent condition, with hardly any signs or age.
- Silverdollar Productions signature of “Genuine Serviced” on the bottom of this clock is your guarantee of a finely reconditioned timepiece!

Therefore, we do not advertise or imply that any of our clocks are of "MINT" condition.
