General Electric Model 2H18 'Chef' Kitchen Clock/Timer

The 1946-48 Genereal Electric 'Chef' was billed as "the first combination kitchen clock and timer". It featured a plastic case in choice of white, ivory, Chinese red, or Nile green. The ivory dial is set in an opalescent gray frame. It has an integrated 60 minute timer and painted metal hands. It can also be wall mounted.

Electric movement cleaned, oiled and tested out of the case to insure good operation.

Rotor and field coil tested and inspected.

Original painted hands were cleaned and lacquered.

Metal bezel was cleaned and lacquered.

Original metal dial and setting knobs were cleaned and are in excellent condition.

Case was cleaned with Nexus plastic and Bakelite polish and shows no signs of wear. There are no chips or cracks in the case.

Original power cord was cleaned, tested, and inspected.
