1940 Telechron 3H89 'Bancroft' Desk Clock

The 1940-42 Telechron 'Bancroft' has a square dark brown case with light wood side flutings and brass feet, bezels, and hands. It has a 3 1/2" square dial with a light cream background.
5 1/4" x 5 1/2" x 3". Designed by Leo Ivan Bruce.

We took this clock completely apart and cleaned everything inside and out, The movement was sonically cleaned and properly oiled with synthectic oil made for the higher running temperature of electric clocks. The rotor and coil where inspected, tested, and run for several days.

The case was deep cleaned and then finished with several coats of tung oil to bring out the original lustre. There is a small scrape on the top corner, but it blends in well. The brass feet, bezels, and hands were cleaned and polished. We also cleaned the metal dial, and glass.
