Item Specifications
  • The father of omega watch company, Louis Brandt opened his first 'pocket
    omega watch' assembly workshop at La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848.
    Omega watches have been a standard for quality and excellence for over
    150 years, when the company began as Switzerland's first watch
    manufacturer. When elegance and strength come together to form an
    extraordinary timepiece, the result can only be an Omega wristwatch.
    In 1969 the Omega Speedmaster was the first watch to be worn on the moon
    when on 21 July 1969, Neil Armstrong made his giant leap for mankind.
    The Omega Speedmaster is still worn by many present day astronauts on
    Shuttle missions.

    and CART circuits, on fashion runways, at evening galas, and wherever

    Omega Speedmaster..

    The history of the Omega Speedmaster begins in 1943 when Omega launched
    the movement "27 CHRO C12"; CHRO for Chronograph, 27 for the movements
    diameter in mm and C12 for the 12-hour totalizer. The movement was
    designed by Albert Piguet. From 1946 it was available with a shock
    protection system and antimagnetic balance spring.


    Watch functions:
    The crown has 2 positions:
    Position 1 : Normal position. If the watch has a screw lock crown,you
    will need to unscrew the crown by turning it counterclockwise before
    you can pull it out.
    Position 2 : Pull the crown out to the first click.

    Time setting: hours - minutes - seconds. Pull the crown out to
    position 2. The seconds hand will stop.
    Turn the crown forwards or backwards. Synchronise the seconds by pushing
    the crown back to position 1 to coincide with a given time signal.

    Chronograph functions:
    Pusher A(at 2:00 position): start - stop, Restart - stop etc.
    Timing to 1/8th of a second for up to 12 hours.
    Pusher B(at 4:00 position): reset (after a stop).
    Hour, minute and small seconds hand, central chronograph habd,
    12-hour and 30-minute totalizers, start/stop push button, return-to-zero
    push button.30-minute register at 9:00 position,Sub-seconds at 3:00
    position.12 Hour chrono register at 6:00.
