It will sew on very light materials like Chiffon, Tulle, Organza, Voile to light materials (Crepe de Chine, Faille, Muslin, Batiste, Percale, Flannel, Pique, Felt, Taffeta, Satin, Crepe, Eyelet, Organdy) & more.  On medium to heavy materials it will sew Velvet, Velveteen, Corduroy, Gabardine, Serge, Fleece, etc.  When it comes to heavier materials, no problem on Drapery Fabric, Linen, Suiting, Burlap, Poplin Denim, Ticking and Canvas.  On more heavier fabrics, it will sew Heavy Denim, Sailcloth, Canvas, Duck, Blanket Binding and Upholstery Fabrics.  Will sew also Soft Leathers (up to 5/16'' under the foot), Kidskin Material, Plastic Films made of vinyl and polypropylene, Thick Vinyl Advertizing Banners, Suede and Ultra-Suede.

The ONE STEP BUTTONHOLER surpass any other buttonhole system in the world!!  You place the button in the special foot, lower the flag and the machine will make a nice, solid buttonhole in one step!  Making 4, 6 or 8 buttonholes is so easy, each and every buttonhole will be of the SAME size, guided by the button dimension placed in the foot.

Included with the accessories is a high quality magnifier ideal for threading needles, opening safely the buttonholes center and when any artwork precision viewing is necessary.

Engaging the Automatic Bobbin Winder is very easy. You install the bobbin and push it to ''Bobbin Winding'', this will disengage the needle movement automatically.  The stitch length is adjustable from 6 to 30 stitches per inch.  Each and every stitch is FULLY adjustable from full width to very narrow.  Many machines on the market only have a stitch width option for the zigzag, all the other stitches are preset at full width.  The upper tension is fully adjustable.

The Bobbin Winding Tension System (top left of machine) offer a continuous tension on the thread to be winded on the bobbin, eliminating thread jamming.  The presser foot pressure can be increased or lowered with the adjustable knob (top left of machine).  Every stitch is displayed in the window of the ''Stitch Display'' eliminating any confusion from changing a stitch to another one.  The ''Buttonhole Flag'' is easy to operate when making buttonholes with the ONE STEP System.

This machine sews on a flat surface or with the free arm for sleeves and hard to reach garments.  The Feed Drop lever is easy to reach, right under the bobbin area.  A threading diagram is pictured in front of the left cover.

The Needle Threader is VERY easy to use.  A precision adjustment (fine tuning) for stretch stitches and buttonhooles is located on the right side of the machine.  2 Spool Pins included, for use with the double needle and also practical to wind up a bobbin without removing your work (as long as you have an extra spool of thread).  A convenient thread cutter is located on the left side.

This machine is not intended to sew knife sheats, horse saddles or any hard to pierce leather such as rigid or too thick patches, hard to pierce logos and other stiff materials.  As long as you sew in soft leather this machine will do it.  Please refer to the above pictures and e-mail me if you are not sure before bidding.

THE SPACE UNDER THE FOOT IS 5/16"

The foot lifter can lift the foot twice but in reality, 1-4'' to 5-16'' is the maximum thickness you will be able to sew.  Do not get confused as some sellers raise the foot lifter to the maximum and show almost 1-2 inch space under the foot like on the picture below... Nothing such thick can be sewn on any sewing machine !

A secure power switch control both the motor and the light compared to many other machines on which the switch controls the light only, not the motor power.  A heat exhaust opening cool down the motor all the time.

The motor is 120 Volts, (8,000 RPM) 1.1 Amp driven with a TRACTION COG BELT which eliminate any slipping.

The Omega high quality, electronic foot control will never overheat because of its advanced solid state components.  It is rated 1.4 Amp, this is VERY important that any foot control is rated over the motor maximum power.
