OMG!! The BEST Winter White Vintage Barkcloth Fabric

You have heard me say it a million times about these vintage white fabrics and how rare they have become....they weren't so rare back in the day when they were designed for swank glamorous homes across the nation, in fact it was shabby chic before it was chic to be shabby...in the 1930's designers were taking a turn from the Victorian dark and Gothic 20's to a more bright and airy look...a sweet look...bringing the outdoors in...realistic flowers on fabric was the mission and it created a trend that never left....today shabby chic continues to be all the rage from rural country homes to modern city lofts transformed into sweet spaces. I remember when I lived in Atlanta in 1994 when shabby chic was just starting to peek...it was all about overstuffed Hollywood Glam sofas and chairs and this type of floral fabric for pillows or draperies. Its truly a no brainer to use white...its so versatile and swanky :) So if being white doesn't bite ya, then maybe the design of fabulous  pink and white cabbage roses will knock your socks off...if you know these designs and patterns like I do, then you know how rare something like this comes along. While this auction is for one panel...I have a total of 6 that I am listing in separate auctions....definitely a bargain compared to the old days when I could have commanded $350 for a panel like this...today its a bargain price for such a beautiful true and original 1930's delight.  Its nice and long so if used as draperies surely they will puddle :) Measures 49 wide x 108 long. A pure white...washed in my tea tree and lime french soap powder so it will smell like you will want to eat it when it arrives!! Absolutely immaculate...its just yardage, not actually made into a drapery panel.
