Just a note about our auctions:
I am a mom not a business. I work with a partner selling items to supplement the family budget to buy for our many children! (10) I find that the older I get, things get by me. If you feel that I've made a mistake in an auction you are involved in, contact me! I'm more than happy to make things right. I'm courteous and friendly; I don't bite...so I hope you will be the same.
Please Please Please...take the time to read the entire description, including the OH So Boring* policies*. Educate and inform yourself before you place a bid!
This is Brand New in the Box from One Step Ahead. This was purchased for a family lake house that ended up being remodeled. The box has never even been opened. It is the 15' length described in the following catalogue description:
"Our invisible shield makes banisters safe. How large is the space between your banister posts? Large enough to trap a little arm or leg? To drop a toy through? Eliminate accidents in the making with our tough, transparent plastic barrier. Available in 5 feet or 15-feet lengths; order as many as you need to create a 33"H shatterproof shield. Easy to install; hole punch and cable ties included. For indoor use."

The Important Yet Often Overlooked Bits:
Please remit payment within 7 (seven) days of the auction's close. You can pay 7 days up to the last second, but I'm telling you, after 7 days, there's no telling what I'll remember.
I accept Money Orders and Pay Pal. The benefits of Pay Pal are that your item comes to you more quickly.
If you choose to send a Money Order, *PLEASE* check the Money Order on the invoice that I send you. This ensures that I know you are planning to pay for the auction win and are not flaking out. You can send the Money Order up to the seventh (7th) day of the auctions close.
I try to keep my shipping costs down for you. Here is how:
I ship using First Class, Parcel Post, Media Mail and First Class International (4lbs and under). Each of these options takes longer to get to you than Priority Mail. Sometimes, not by much, sometimes, as in the case of Parcel Post, 6 or 7 days.
I always will combine shipping, and do so on a case by case basis.
Many times I will recycle packing materials as long as they are clean. I don't see the point in creating a giant carbon footprint using brand new things each time. Sometimes it's a Saltine Box, sometimes a cereal box. I never send you something that food has touched. That would be gross. To me it's just cardboard with pictures on it.
If you have a problem with recycled packing materials, contact me at the close of the auction. I will raise your shipping price to the appropriate Priority Mail rate, and use the USPS' supplies.
Anyone who has shopped around on eBay knows that there are sellers that really gouge the buyers with high shipping costs. I am not one of them. However, I will tell you straight out that usually I charge some sort of P&P (Postage and Packaging). It is nominal. I live at the top of a mountain and have quite a hike to the Post Office...the Suburban she does like the gasoline!
Ebay is an 18 and older site. This means we are all adults. As adults we need to walk into any transaction with our eyes wide open. If you have read the auction description, the Stipulations and viewed the shipping charges and method of shipment, and then place a bid you are stating that you are in agreement with this auctions rules.
