About Me:
I grew up in the beautiful Hills District on the outskirts of Sydney, riding my horses with friends after school, usually on trails where we often stopped to watch the frogs and taddies in the creek. Our companion animals at home included:Many dogs, guinea pigs, a green tree snake, carpet python in Dad's shed, a kangaroo (saved from her mother's pouch after she was hit on the road in the Outback)goats, rabbits and cows.
Motivation:My love of nature is reflected in my art. In meditation I see art that I then want to go and start on. Feelings we all share can be expressed in artforms more directly than in any other way. Through horses and their cousins the unicorns and pegasus, I depict emotions and attitudes that are usually considered exclusive to the human condition. Horses have no filter between what they feel and what they show to us, and this is what I love about them as artistic subjects. Drawing in fine Graphite is my first love, but I also create art in other media, including watercolour, coloured pencil, textile, clay, and embellished art.
Exhibitions, Collections: My art is in collections around the world, I have worked professionally as an artist since 1995, I have held Five solo exhibitions and been represented by galleries in three states. My large Equine graphites are exhibited at the Boyd Fine Art Gallery, Narellan, (shown below) and "Mirrors and Masterpieces" Gallery in Kurrajong Village.
Awards: *I placed 2nd r/u in the 2003 International art award Equitana Asia Pacific, and my art and story has been featured in such National magazines as "Australian Horseman", Australian Performance Horse’ "Hoofbeats", and "Russh". I have completed over a hundred private Commissions for Clients in the past three years, including one of ‘Lohnro’. My horse art placed first in the drawing section two years running at the Orange Blossom Festival at Castle Hill 2005 & 2006. My art pieces are always packaged with great attention to protection of the work, so they arrive to you in perfect condition. Thank you for your interest in my art, happy collecting!

My Inspiration: Jack my beautiful big paint horse.
