This is Hamlish a 2-1/2" pig I made step-by-step for this online CD pig class.

ATTENTION: Due to a change in eBay rules I will no longer be sending classes via the computer. I now will be selling my CD of my original Needle Felted PIG Class and sending it to your home address. I am the owner and creator of the photos and information in this Wool Pig Class. My CD Pig class is copyrighted, Barby Anderson © 2009. I spoke with 3 eBay store representatives who also spoke with Trust and Safety on how I should go about selling this class after the new rules came out. You may take this class at your leisure as there is no set time to finish your project. I work in my studio 6 days a week and am happy to help any student with their needle felted pig.
 
 

A note about the 2-1/2" pig you will be making in this class. I had so many requests for a class to create my wool pig that I decided to list this class. I hope you enjoy it!

I am very excited to share my knowledge through my CD pig class to help you create your very own 2-1/2" needle felted pig. This listing is for my WOOL NEEDLE FELTED PIG CLASS © 2009 ON A CD and not for the actual wool pig that is shown in the photos. I am thrilled to be able to offer this class! I would appreciate any student that creates and sells a similar pig from this class to add to their listing or hang tag that the pattern for the pig was created by Barby Anderson ebay ID: barby303

This class or listing does not include the small amount of supplies you will need for the class. I do however sell a pig kit right here in my eBay store that is a great companion to this class. When you purchase this class I will be mailing a copyrighted CD to your home address.

I have many photos for you to follow included in each lesson along with my easy-to-read instructions. You may print one copy of each lesson for your records if you'd like and it is not to be shared with any other person.

This will be a four-lesson class as shown below:

Lesson #1- Needle felting the torso, head and creating the felt feet

Lesson #2- Creating the face and ears, applying the fine outer wool to the head and torso

Lesson #3- Creating the wire armatures for the legs and wrapping them in core wool and fine outer wool

Lesson #4- Attaching the legs to the body, adding the outer layer of fine wool to the body and creating the tail

 
A supply list will be included in your first lesson.

The top photo above is an example of a sitting pig you would be learning to create. The pig you will be creating has black onyx bead eyes, a pink nose, pinkish flesh ears and feet made from wool felt. The pig is made from wool and the wire tail is wrapped in the wool also. The charming chubby pig is solid wool to the core and has wire armatures inside the legs for posing. The chubby legs on the pig are in a permanent sitting position. Everyone needle felts a little differently and so each creation by each student will vary. I have included several photos of the class pig below that was created step-by-step in the four class lessons. His name is "Hamlish." This class was created for beginning needle felters, however it is challenging enough for the more advanced needle felter.

For those who have not needle felted this is a process of poking fluffy wool with a barbed needle hundreds of times to sculpt a shape. Needle felting is basically sculpting and painting with wool! The wool pig you will be creating is not intended for children or pets. This pig kit has no instructions included. It is just the supplies to make the pig and is a companion to the pig class I sell in my eBay store in it's own listing. It is not included with the pig class.

Hamlish was fun to make and is a dear little pig. I will keep him as he represents the pig class.
