ORG OLD BRADLEY & HUBBARD Kerosene Library Hanging Lamp

Here is a gorgeous original,  19th century, BRADLEY & HUBBARD  hanging kerosene lamp  in really great condition. Lamps such as these are often referred to as "  kerosene library hanging lamps. "  This lamp has outstanding details and an extremely impressive appearance.  All of the frame parts are solid brass. (the only parts not brass are the chains). Please take note of the fantastic ornate embossed designs on the bottom of glass font holder, rim around font holder, top of the original BRADLEY & HUBBARD  font, wide band which holds the 14" diameter magnificent floral decorated shade,  balance ring, smoke bell  and winder  cover. The shade even has its original ornate brass crown fitting !  You really do not find them much nicer than this.  The embossed designs on the component parts match and this magnificent old hanging lamp has an impressive presence ! The flame spreader in the font is embossed B & H, as is the filler cap on the original font. The flame spreader has dates of 1880s & 1890s.  THE  FABULOUS  floral  decorated  shade is in  excellent  condition  and  is AWESOME  !!!. It appears that decades ago that the brass parts probably tarnished and  someone chose to revitalize their appearance by painting them brass. This paint is easily removable and  when removed the brass would be great!   If this frame was burnished, IT WOULD BE UNBELIEVABLE ! The old  winder @ the top of the light seems to function well !  IF  YOU ARE  LOOKING  FOR A REAL  VICTORIAN BEAUTY,  THIS  IS IT !!!!!!!!! The ring/rim which houses the shade is meant to have prisms hanging from it.  Just picture this old gem restored, with the prisms hanging from the rim.......  WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This lamp will be totally disassembled to facilitate safe shipment !
