Up for auction is a GORGEOUS 1920's Art Deco chandelier. This is a heavy quality cast iron period chandelier with the BEAUTIFUL original patina. The chandelier is a rich beautiful bronze or copper color. This is completely all original with the chain links, fancy hooks,ceiling canopy etc. and is in REMARKABLE condition. There are very beautiful swag designs going around the chandelier and ceiling canopy. The stem is very beautiful and has a four part 3-D design and swags going down the sides on the stem. The chandelier is cast iron and marked M.E.P. made by Markel Electric Products. Buffalo, New York. Sometimes their logo letters are cast into the metal parts as M.E.P. Pictures shown are lit and un-lit and when lit this is SUPER BEAUTIFUL! Shown with period correct replica bulbs this casts out beautiful shadows! Bulbs are not included but will tell the winning bidder where to purchase if desired. This is a five light fixture and has been completely rewired and comes with all mounting hardware for hanging. The chandelier has a hang of 29" and can be shortened up to 8" by removing chain links and is 19" in diameter. A beautiful chandelier to cherish in your decor.
