Acrylic paint on gallery-wrap (stapled on back) canvas stretched on wood frame. This is a new, original abstract expressionist painting which will be hand signed and dated by me (the artist) on the front. Also, the medium (acrylic), as well as my signature, date, and title are written on the back of the painting. If you do not plan on framing this painting, I will paint the sides a solid color and wire the back for hanging at no additional cost, if you wish.

With a B.A. degree in art from San Diego State University, I worked as a graphic designer and art director.

I later focused my energy into creating copper enamels, etched glass and designing and hand-painting texturized furniture using hand-made stencils.

For 12 years I designed custom, room size, high end area rugs working with interior designers.

I have been painting full time for the last eight years and have sold over 1400 paintings online and in galleries. My style of painting has evolved through many years of exploration. My copper enamels, both hard edge and ethereal, translated in later years into a spontaneous painting style using acrylic paint and my stencil technique. This sometimes gives the appearance of air brushing. Bold colors and swift, blunt strokes predominate. These are sometimes complemented by India ink and delicate areas of soft pastel. At present, I am concentrating on painting in an abstract expressionist style ...sometimes with a little cubism mixed in, and landscapes and florals done in impressionist, abstract and fauve styles.

Some of my pieces have an oriental influence due to a period of time spent living in Japan during my impressionable childhood years.
