ORIGINAL EARLY NONSUCH BLACK CAT SHOE POLISH TIN SIGN!

Here is a neat old advertising piece. It is made of tin and was probably used as an insert underneath a glass top display case in an old general store. The sign advertises "Black Cat Shoe Polish", a product manufactured by the "Nonsuch Manufacturing Company" of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have never seen anything like this sign before. Very nice patina throughout with some paint black paint loss on the cats face and some of the black lettering. The black paint would be the easiest to touch up if needed. None of the other paint/ remaining black paint looks as though it will flake off any time soon. The sign measures 35.5cm tall and 25.5cm wide. Overall a very neat piece, would look very nice framed.
