This is an ORIGINAL HAND-COLORED FASHION PRINT from GODEY'S LADIES' MAGAZINE from the 1800's.  This print is in great condition; no tears.

It comes with a matting that is not attached, so you can decide to use it or not when framing. The size of the print with mat is approx. 11 x 13. The print has a faint fold in the center, as that is how it came from the magazine.

The design of this fashion plate includes five adult young women in day dresses of the period just before the Civil War; and a delightful bonus is two children with the ladies--a boy and girl. Also in the print is an elaborate puppet theatre/courthouse and the lady holding the boy is also holding a puppet of man.

Very nice for those interested in period history, period costumes, collectibles, paper, etc.
