DESCRIPTION

Original watercolor landscape showing a country house and a stone wall alongside a country lane. Flush mounted on a dark background and housed in an early wooden frame. Best guess for age would be ca. 1920. It is signed and apparently dated, but I am completely unable to translate it. I’m not even sure of the language. Could be Greek or Albanian for all I can tell. If anyone can supply me a translation, I’d sure appreciate it.







CONDITION
Overall excellent. Some age darkening. A FINE AND UNUSUAL EUROPEAN PAINTING.
