TODAYS ITEM FOR AUCTION IS: A fabulous silver print photo of Mary Pickford. Shot by Campbell Studios New York with blindstamp. Signed in the border "to Miss Barrett, Very Sincerly Mary Pickford." This item is 100% guarenteed to be an original photo and Mary Pickford's own signature. Miss Barrett became friends with both Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks (see our other listing for one from Douglas to the same woman) in the 1920's. She was a copiest for film studio and worked on scores with many actors and actresses. She was also a friend of Margrethe Mather Photographer, Edward Weston, Emma Goldberg anarchist, Charlie Chaplin and a host of others with radical thought. The photograph is in EX condition with usual silvering around edges. 8 x 10 inches. One of the nicest signed photos of Mary Pickford you will find. She was "America's Sweetheart." This photo captures her beauty more than most you will find. Don't miss out on this great piece. The scan is done in black and white, the ink color is blue.
