Wait for your power miter saw to reach maximum rpm, then one fast down stroke. (practice first. try also short 3 or 4 quick down strokes) The objective is to not melt the plastic. Make sure you have the rail secure with a clamp in addition to your hand to prevent the blade from pulling. A couple squirts of WD-40 on the blade before cutting helps too. Use supper glue or any adhesive made for bonding plastic together. Have fun creating......Once assembled, the moulding looks very nice. |
