Lists for over $250! I have only used this system to shear approximately 10 alpacas about 4 years ago. I have not used this system since then to shear, but I tested it before putting it on eBay. I currently own over 90 alpacas and llamas, which I shear myself. This Oster Stewart Shearmaster is a good system for the advanced or more professional shearer. The motor runs fantastically strong. The head system requires special adjustment and good lubrication to run properly, which can take some experience to set for its most efficient usage. When it is set properly, this system will work wonderfully for you. I am selling this system only because I primarily use a different set of shearers which uses an entirely different head and blades/cutters that are not interchangeable on this particular Oster Stewart Shearmaster. I have put a considerable investment into the other type of blades, combs, and cutters. Otherwise, I would be using this system a lot.
This system is a real work horse! Everything is in good condition and ready to use. Just add a little oil/lubrication, set the head properly with the comb & cutter, and start shearing!

The tooth is not "bent". This is the correct shape of the comb for this particular style of comb. Some folks prefer this style as they claim...more
