Rare Original 1930s Pinback Button Artwork of OSWALD'S KITTY from the WALTER LANTZ STUDIO.  KITTY was OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT'S GIRLFRIEND. OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT was a Cartoon Character Created by UB IWERKS & WALT DISNEY in 1927 for WALT DISNEY'S "ALICE COMEDIES."  OSWALD quickly became very popular with the Audience. After several successful Cartoons with OSWALD & with much difficulty with Studio Heads WALT DISNEY went on to Produce MICKEY MOUSE Cartoons. WALTER LANTZ eventually took control of OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT and formed his own Studio WALTER LANTZ PRODUCTIONS. With Animator BILL NOLAN many wonderful OSWALD Cartoons were made. This Original Art was used for the making of a 1930s Pinback Button of OSWALD'S Girlfriend KITTY. The Original Art is Ink on Board and measures approx 11-1/4" x 11-1/4". The Image of KITTY measures approx 6" x 7". At the top of the Art is WALTER LANTZ  BILL NOLAN'S & OSWALD'S KITTY at the bottom. There is a piece of Cel Material with painted dots for KITTY'S Polka Dot Dress. The Artwork has Ink Registration marks on all 4 sides. Pinback Button not included.

OSWALD'S KITTY ARTWORK Condition: Original Ink on Board with Ink Registration marks & Pencil Notations. Offwhite with some yellowing. One small thumbtack hole in each outside corner. Some light surface soiling & small age spots on both sides of the Art due to age. One 1/4" tear to the top middle edge. Three corners of border edge surface abrasion (where old masking tape held down the mat). Old tape residue to the 4 border edge corners. The Image of Kitty is drawn on Board & then was Studio Mounted to an additional Artwork Board. The Cel Material (Zipatone effect) for Kitty's Polka Dot Dress is slightly warped due to age. There is a small Ink mark on the back of the Art (which does not show through to the front). A Pencil Notation #2 is on the front & back of the Art.  The Original OSWALD'S KITTY PINBACK BUTTON ARTWORK is in Very Good Condition.
