Here is a cool copy of DC comics' OUR ARMY AT WAR #242 DC 100 PAGE SUPER SPECTACULAR DC-9 from 1972. This excellent comic features a great Sgt Rock cover by Joe Kubert with excellent reprints from DC war titles. We have "The Rock" with Joe Kubert art from G. I. Combat #68, Captain Storm in "Death Of A P.T. Boat" with Irv Novick art from Capt Storm #3, "Line Of Departure" with Mort Drucker art from G.I. Combat #64, Johnny Cloud Navajo Ace in "Broken Ace" with Irv Novick art from American Men Or War #87, Gunner and Sarge in "A Tank For Sarge" from Our Fighting Forces #57, The Haunted Tank in "The Wounded Won't Wait" with Joe Kubert art, "The Brave Tank" with Russ Heath art from G. I. Combat #44, and "Battle Hats" from Our Army At War #58 with Andru & Esposito art. This comic has some of the best art and stories from the DC war titles in one group!!! Great art, great stories!!!

OUR ARMY AT WAR #242 DC 100 PAGE SUPER SPECTACULAR DC-9 is in Fine+ condition, Nice cover gloss, no writing, no clipped coupons, clean interior pages, nice tight squarebound spine (hard to find in these 100 page giants), covers and pages firmly attached. There is a neat, light store arrival stamp in the right, front cover. Nothing else terribly wrong here- this and some light overall handling keep it at Fine+ This is a structurally very solid comic with great eye appeal. Thsi comic is a beauty!!!

This is such an excellent DC war comic. Top notch reprints with new art often added as a new splash page. This is a great looking and feeling comic with a really nice squarebound spine- so hard to find in these giants. These 100 Page Super Spectaculars are a little harder to find than Overstreet suggests. The 50 cent cost kept sales down at the time. This is such a cool comic- don't pass it by. Excellent stories, art, and cover!!! If you want this comic- bid on it. Vintage comics are one of life's great simple pleasures- you deserve it.
