--Outdoor wood boilers are designed to burn green wood and need to be shipped back to factory for repairs, although they may be repaired with a bandaid like patch to get you through a heating season and then shipped to the factory for repairs. 

--Burning green wood in an outdoor wood boiler will require twice as many cords of wood to be used as half of the BTU's will be required just to dry the wood and also requires 50 percent more wood because of inadequate firebox temperatures.
