IF THE PIPE YOU ARE BUYING IS NOT EXPANDABLE AND OLNY CAN BE CRIMPED IT IS MORE THAN LIKELY NOT  pex (class A) for potable water.  our pipe can freeze solid without breaking others can not.   before you buy a cheaper grade of pipe make sure you know the difference in the quality.   ask what brand name is used for the pipe .You are buying by the 50 ft amount of underground insulated pex line with coded lines for ease of telling the difference . There are 2 lines inside 1 return and 1 feed. these are 1 inch lines. The lines and insulation are protected by a 4 inch tile that is water proof. The r value is about an R18 one of the best values under $12.00 per foot. The inside 1  inch ID pex lines are made from REHAU PEX or WIRSBO customer does not have choice of the type but it will depend on what we have in stock. two of the top quality pex lines on the market today.
