OUTSTANDING 1845-69 Villeroy & Boch Pair Bisque Vases
- Look at this wonderful pair of early biscuit porcelain vases
- They are very finely detailed, and show classical female scenes, surrounded by very sophisticated Celtic rosette patterns
- Exceptional proportions in the modern at the time Neo-Classical taste
- All figures and designs are hand applied in relief
- They are both stamp marked in relief on the bottom. These vases are outstanding examples of the very early Villeroy & Boch. The marks are the Two Eagle VB marks, which the company used on its earthenware and biscuitware from 1845-69
- Measurements: Each one is approx. 10.75" high, 5.25" at widest
- Condition: VG+ overall. One of them has two slight blemishes around one of the figural scenes, as seen in the photos. It is a very shallow flake. The other is missing a small part of the handle pattern detail, which was a defect made in manufacture. Both are considered minor blemishes and do not detract from the beauty of the pair
