This Over Ear Headphone by Bose is a shelf pull / missing box from a major big box retailer. We have played headphones with an iPod MP3 for proper function . Each ear works-sounds correctly,they sound great as expected. There is minor paint wear along the edge/ridge of both ear cups between the ear cup cushion and ear cup dome from being out of packaging. Other wise in very good condtion.
Shelf pulls are not customer returns. We do sell returns, refurbished and used items and list them as such when we do. In most cases and in the case of these Headphone sets, the packaging only is damaged in some way and not suitable for retail shelf sales with none or limited product damage. We buy shelf pulls in large quantities and pass the saving on to you as we can offer them at a lower price as we do well at our wholesale auctions.
