Postage is calculated by weight for small orders, and large orders will only cost $10.99 for anything we can fit in a Flat-Rate box; shipped anywhere in the United States. Old fashioned oatmeal soap has been used as a luxury soap for hundreds of years, and it is one of our best soap products; try some today, you have nothing to lose!
Some people are discouraged by a soap made from lye, this statement is solely from remembering the harsh soap made in the old days without a scientific approach or precision measurements. The fact is: lye converts oil into pure soap and glycerin, it is perfectly safe to use. Some of the older people who have used lye soap their entire life have a natural beauty without ever using cosmetics which contain carcinogenic chemicals that promote aging of your skin.
Many people have used old fashioned Oatmeal Soap to clear up minor skin disorders; we make no such claims except it is pure handmade soap. We use a complex blend of vegetable oils to obtain the best possible cleansing and skin softening, and we also include a natural preservative to keep our soap fresh for up to one year. Our Oatmeal Soap is made from our own exclusive recipe with a healthy dose of olive oil, avocado oil and shea butter. Our oatmeal soap does not contain any animal products such as lard or tallow, however we do have a lard based soap in our other auctions. You may have read some claims of lard based soap clogging the pores of your skin, this is opinion based and it is a sales term used to convince health fanatics into using vegetable-based products, use your best judgment with these statements.
You can not find this Oatmeal Soap anywhere in any local stores, it is only available from a soap maker. Health food stores may carry a similar product from a wholesale soap maker who mas produces soap without putting any personal care in their finished product, it is usually sold in a big loaf where you have to carve off a chunk in the store.
