Description: This book features color pictures from the Claytoons (Claymation) by Maxwell Dorne Photos and drawings tell the story of the Three Little Dolls who encounter problems when they set sail in a boat. The moral is that it is better to obey the wishes of their mother than to risk their safety by disobeying. Book number 5 in the Pointers for Little Persons series.
Originally published in 1943, this version was lithographed in 1961. It has great shots very reminiscent of the stop motion animation stories done for children during the 40's. Condition: The book is hard cover and stitched. Significant wear - corners and spine are rubbed, nicks on the cover and the bottom of the spine is starting to fray (see photo). Pages all tightly bound. Apart from a small stain on the inside front cover, the interior pages are in very good condition.
