Wrap your creativity in the most luxurious cover possible with this handmade, bench-crafted leather journal from the artisans at Oberon Design.

Each refillable journal is constructed from custom tanned cowhide and paired with a decorative pewter button cast in the Oberon shop.  A black leather strap knotted in the back wraps around the button for secure closure.  These journals last a lifetime and the leather covers only get better with age, as they develop a beautiful shiny patina from contact with human hands.  Plus, they smell wonderful! The Celtic Hounds journal features a pewter button with bold celtic knot motif.

The two inside covers (not pictured) of each journal are lined with black leather 4"-deep pockets to hold the covers of the journal insert in place. They're also handy for storing a few small pieces of paper or some extra cash. The company name, "Oberon Design," is tooled into the top of the inside back cover.  An insert with suggested care methods for your journal is included.

The CELTIC HOUNDS design, in WINE (a very dark brownish-purple) depicts the same image on both the front and the back of one wide panel and one narrow panel that each feature interweaving celtic knot and hound imagery.  A seperate panel runs along the binding side of the journal and features a Celtic Bird Knot motif.
