ROCKET LOCOMOTIVE KIT BY OcCre (#OC54000)

Robert Stephenson built the first modern steam locomotive in 1829 to compete in the Rainhill Trials held by the Loverpool & Manchester Railway. The Rocket Loco had a 0-2-2 wheel arrangement with a multi-tubular boiler and direct coupling, the Rocket reached a speed of 29 mph. It not only won the trials, but established the basic design principles for future steam locomotives.

You’ll build an accurate replica from OcCre’s kit. Laser cut wooden parts for the loco body, tender and boiler make construction easy and cast metal parts provide life-like detail.

The finished model is 15-1/2" long, 11" high and 4-1/2" wide in G (1:24) scale. Kit is brand new and complete with all parts and assembly instructions. List price is $169.99. Please note: display base and track are not included with the kit.
