OFFICIAL RALLY FOR ROBBY JIM BEAM T-SHIRT, BLACK, 2008…SIZE XXL

Do you remember back at the 2008 Daytona 500 when Robby had just switched to Dodges, and they put the wrong nose on the car? We were penalized 100 owners points after the race, and Jim Beam issued these shirts in a campaign to get them back. The campaign worked and Robby did not incur any point penalty from the infraction. Getting those points back were crucial in his bid to stay in the top 35 and have a guaranteed starting spot in the 500 in 09.

These were handed out to all of the team members and this was owned by a former team member.

This shirt is brand new and in perfect condition.

I worked as an engineer for Robby Gordon for 2.5 years, and in the summer of 2008 I helped to run the Nationwide car out of fuel at the Chicago race. A week later Robby fired me. I had a closet full of RGM shirts and luggage that I suddenly had no need of, so I put them on ebay for the fans to enjoy. It turns out that the intelligent race fans preferred the proper team worn gear over the over priced junk they sell at the merchandise trailer. After I sold all of my gear I reached out to my NASCAR friends and I now offer official team issued gear from most of the teams on the grid. I also offer some uniquites from a bygone era.
