Old 5 luk * WOMEN'S KERIS *pamor blade Kris sword kriss

STRONG>Keris Patrem (Womens Keris) pusaka from Yogyakarta
with very nice pamor.



This is a very nice 5 luk keris from Yogyakarta, Central Jawa. Yogyakarta is situated in the central of Java and is one the most important city for the keris, with the keraton and big history of keris.

The dapur (shape) of the keris is Brojol . Special about this keris (beside the nice 5 luk blade of the Keris) is the small size of 35 cm in total. This is common for a Keris Patrem, also known as Womens Keris.


Alltough this Keris is very old the blade is very smooth and the blade has still a very nice visible pamor on the blade. I made detailed pictures of this, so please watch yourself. Off course in real vision the pamor is more nice.

This keris is very old, probably made 17th centuryor even older. The wooden handle is "Nunggak Semi" and and typical from Yoygakarta. According to me the handle is old and used, but it might be not as old as the Keris itself. This is very common, as the Keris itself is much stronger as the wooden handle. As you can see the handle is matching well with the scabbard and keris. The wooden warangka (scabbard) is, according to me, not as old as the Keris itself and is a Gayaman (shape of kidney) from Yogyakarta.
The wood is very nice (see the pictures).

The kerisblade is +/- 25 cm and the total length of the keris in the scabbard is 35 cm.

Off course the low starting bid is less then the actual value and only to encourage you to give a good bid on this nice keris.
