Antique wine Oak Barrel -   Size:  high 23"  - diameter top & bottom 14" -  around middle 54" -   weight  30lbs

One of the metal bands is missing (see photo) Overall very good condition as I do not know much about wine barrels. There is a bit of rust on the bottom band. 

 I used this barrel as a stand in my livingroom for years.  The last few years it has been sitting in my basement.  I do not know the age of this barrel.  It was given to me by my mother who lived on an Island in Maine.  It seems that the plug is inside as I can see it.  However I do not know how one would get it out?
