Old dagger Dha from Burma

This lovely old Burmese Dha Dagger Knife dates from the late 19th Century.

It is decoratively enhanced with silver mountings as well as wears a beautifully carved hilt. The material has a single age crack, nevertheless remains tight and sturdy with a wonderful yellow mellowing now developed. It is mounted with a blade which although is stained and shows old wear, remains in good condition. The wooden scabbard is beautifully silver sleeved with complimenting details and remains very nice in condition as well. Still present is the multicoloured corded carrying sling.  Don't hesitate to ask for material details.

The length of the blade is 6 ¾ inches (17.20 cm), overall measuring 13 1/4 inches (33.80 cm) in length.

Antikes Messer Dha aus Burma

Dieses schöne antike Burma Dha Messer stammt aus dem späten 19. Jahrhundert. Die Klinge weist keinerlei Pamor auf und ist glatt wie bei einem normalen Messer.

Die Scheide ist aus Holz und mit Silber ummantelt und in sehr gutem Zustand. Daran befestigt ist eine bunte Kordel zum Tragen des Dha. Der Griff ist  wunderschön geschnitzt. Aufgrund des Alters findet aber lediglich einen leichten Riß. Zur Scheide hin ist der Griff wieder mit Silber beschlagen.

Die Klingenlänge beträgt 17,20 cm, die Gesamtlänge 33,80 cm.
