     This old porcelain Vintage Toothpick or Match Holder was made in Czecho-Slovakia and is stamped as such on the bottom.  There are also two number stamps; 57, 42.  The number 183 is impressed into the bottom of the piece as well.  NOTE:  The black smudge you see on the bottom was from a label that had the original owner's name on it, and I completely cleaned it off after these photos were taken.
 
     It stands about 2-1/8" tall and is about 1-7/8" front-to-back and side-to-side.  This is a scarce piece and is in fantastic original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.  It would make a wonderful addition to your collection, and it presents beautifully!
