I'm pleased to offer you this

This black forest Barometer/Thermometer was made in France
at the middle of 20 th century ,handcarved on a piece of wood.
Lovely Thermometer on Top . Barometer with Indicators for :
Tempête, Grande Pluie, Pluie ou Vent,Variable, Beau Temps,
Beau fixe ,Très Sec . It has a hook for Hanging on the back.

The Thermometer is "THERMOMETRE CENTIGRADE " and
fixed on a golden brass plaque ,the brass bezel
with some crackling have been left with its own patina.

Condition is very good for its age, both the thermometer
and barometer are in working order.

The wood is all in very condition with no cracks , complete
no missing part ,some inactive worm holes . Common wear on edges.
It measures overall 19 1/2" high. Larger dimension 9 1/2" and 2"deep.
Dial diameter is a little 2 3/4" .

This barometer piece is a welcome addition to anyone's home.
