The back of the log is inscribed with "J. HOMMES" and the number "1009". The stickers on the bottom (the ones I can read) say "TWIGS---Buy Me And Plant A Tree", and the large one is the original JC Penney prize tag of $9.50. There are two smaller stickers but they're completely covered up by the price tag. I've Googled these and looked on several sites (including eBay) and couldn't find anything about them. Maybe it's rare? Shows a little wear, you can see in the photo that there are a couple of minor chips (mostly on the end of the stick). Heavy little guy, nice and weighty. Would be a great gift for a collector!
