Old P & A Hand Painted Kerosene/Oil Lamp Base Floral
Description
An early 1900s or late 1800s glass hand painted bowl with brass metal embossed base and metal top. This is just a base. The kerosene/oil metal burner insert is missing. No chips, nicks or cracks. No signs of repairs. There are some tan dots of age stain on the white blass bowl. I have not tried to clean this off since I don't know what to use. The base is stamped with P & A, #283. It does have some surface rust beginning down in bottom of bowl on metal and up underneath on metal. The piece under the bowl looks copper in color. The base does have tarnish wear or age discoloration. The piece is 10" tall, 7 1/2" wide across the top. The base is6 1/4" wide. The opening for the burner insert is 5 1/8" wide across the center.
