Brass pieces are fitted in each end of the knife, held with brass pins. Overall length of knife is 3 1/2 inches; blade length is 1 1/2 inches.
Knife is well-made and a wonderful piece of scrimshaw. Has nice patina and likely dates to early 1900s, or possibly the 19th century.
