Here you are bidding on an old Teapot marked Villeroy & Boch, D, Wallerfangen.  It is a nice pottery piece, I believe it is Iron Stone?? 

          The pot stands approx. 7 ½” high to the top of the lid and is decorated with a scalloped ribbon design of Blue on the white background. 

          It is a charming old pot with a few little faults…there is small chip to the end of spout, chip to the bottom portion of the finial on the lid, and a stain to the bottom portion of one side.  It appears that there is a glazing fault on the inside and this caused the Tea to seep into the pottery there and stain.  It still displays nicely and I think the design is wonderful : )
