Vintage Zenith Space Commander

This has to be one of the earliest remotes, dont you think? I am not sure if it is anything more than a museum piece, a collectible, if you will. It really is a neat old conversation piece from another time. I am guessing these remote controlled TV's came on the scene in the 50's, correct me if I am wrong. I have no idea if it works. SPACE AGE!

Check my other auctions as I am cleaning out my basement, attic and storage areas after many years. Thanks and 73's
