This is a beautiful old violin with good craftsmanship, georges-looking flamed back and redish brown varnish over a golden ground, it has a lovely patina too. It has no cracks, no open seams but has normal wear of usage over the years, especially at the bridge area on the top. (please see the #2 photo). The fingerboard is ebony. The inside label reads: "Antonius Straduarius Cremonensis faciebat Anno 1734".

The approx. measurements are: Total length: 23 1/2", LOB: 14 1/8", Lower bout: 8"

This old violin needs an overall setup including a new bridge, a set of new strings, and a new soundpost. An ebony tailpiece will be packed together with the violin.

This violin will be shipped in an older case for extra protection. A tracking number or Delivery Confirmation will be priveded so you may rest assured about the shipment. No worries here. International bidders are welcome, please ask for S&H fee, thank you.
