 Description Shipping and payments
From a doll collector Estate here is a wonderful 21" tall antique bisque head doll. Possibly German she is only marked with what looks like an A S on the back of her bisque head. Several doll makers may have used A S on their dolls according to reference book. Albin Steiner 1914 Sonberg Germany, or A. Steinhardt 1910 to 1919 out of New York City, I can't be certain of her maker. She has a composition wood ball jointed body which looks to have been repainted. The legs from the knee down may have been replaced at one time they look just a little darker in color, look very old but are nice and all intact. The toes are accented in red. Doll has all her fingers intact. I do not know her past and or if any restorations have been done. She has a beautiful face with open blue glass eyes, painted black lashes around her eyes and brown brush stroked brows.  Open mouth with upper teeth, there is a little dimple in her chin.  Nice color on her face with no flaws that I see. She wears a long blonde vintage mohair wig with lots of curls, it is not glued on her head. Vintage dress has attached slip and is in nice condition. Doll wears silk pantaloons, stockings and white shoes. I beleive the clothing is vintage and not antique, but fits her well.
